Swami Sankaramritananda Puri (Dr. C. Nagarajan) is a senior disciple of Sadguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. He joined Mata Amritanandamayi Math in 1991. He is an Ayurvedic physician by profession with a postgraduate qualification (MD) in Kayachikitsa. He has completed his BAMS in 1986 from University of Madras and MD from University of Kerala in 1991.

Swami Sankaramritananda Puri joined Amrita School of Ayurveda as Assistant Professor in the department of Kayachikitsa on 01/09/2004. He was promoted as Associate Professor on 01/09/2009 and as Professor on 01/09/2014. Presently he is Professor in the Department of Kayachikitsa, Principal since 01/05/2019 and is the Dean of Amrita School of Ayurveda, Vallikavu. He is also serving as the Principle investigator for the “Ayurcel” project sponsored by Rashtreeya Ayurveda Vidya Peeth.

Swami Sankaramritananda Puri takes active participation in various missionary activities initiated by Mata Amritanandamayi Math. He has travelled to Germany, Switzerland and Spain to promote Ayurveda and Indian philosophy. He has conducted many workshops and seminars in various important Ayurvedic topics. He is a teacher, physician and scholar in Indian phiosophy.

His interpretation of Lalithasahasranama is being aired by Amrita T.V regularly as a serial in their Sandhya Deepam Program. This serial has completed approximately 900 episodes. Besides Ayurveda, his main area of interests are Bhagavad Gita, Lalithasahasranama & Soundaryalahari.
