Bio

Akhil V. P. joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of English on 9th June 2014. He completed his post graduation in English and Comparative Literature from Pondicherry Central University. He has also completed his B. Ed. degree from a college affiliated to Calicut University. He has attended a workshop titled “Perspectives 2014” held at Cochin campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, which threw light on various avenues for research in English language.

Akhil has registered for PhD under the guidance of Dr. Geetha Senthilkumar (Asst. Professor, Dept.of English, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimabtore) in Bharathiyar University and has selected his broad area of research as ‘Post colonial Literature’.
